An error informing you that your system is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Windows applications could mean that one or more of the following required files is missing or damaged: Config.nt, Autoexec.nt, Command.com.

You'll need to recover these files from the CD / DVD that you used to install Windows or the Windows CD / DVD that was supplied with your PC. To do this follow the instructions below;

1) Insert your Windows CD / DVD into your CD / DVD drive
2) Select your Windows 'Start' menu and click 'Run'
3) At the command prompt, type the following commands, pressing ENTER after each command:

expand 'CD / DVD Drive Letter':\i386\config.nt_ c:\windows\system32\config.nt
expand 'CD / DVD Drive Letter':\i386\autoexec.nt_ c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt
expand 'CD / DVD Drive Letter':\i386\command.co_ c:\windows\system32\command.com
exit
